Our Mission
Serving the Most Marginalized and Vulnerable
The VINE and Branches Outreach (TVABO) was founded on the belief that every person deserves to be seen, valued, and supported. We exist to serve the most marginalized and vulnerable members of our community — providing not just resources, but genuine human connection.
Our work is grounded in faith and driven by love. Through our core programs — K's Kitchen and Khalil's Korner — we address two of the most pressing needs in our community: food insecurity and educational inequity.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, every dollar donated goes directly toward feeding families and educating children right here in Charlotte, NC.
Our Founders
Meet Kim & Bill Gabriel
TVABO was founded by Kim and Bill Gabriel, two passionate community leaders whose hearts for service led them to create an organization that truly meets people where they are. Their vision was simple: to stay connected to the VINE that extends branches of hope, nourishment, and opportunity to everyone in need.
What began as a small act of service has grown into a thriving nonprofit touching hundreds of lives each year through free meals, free tutoring, and community outreach in the Charlotte, NC area.
Their dedication to faith, family, and community continues to inspire everyone who walks through TVABO's doors.
